Loved this place! We were in Whitefish for a couple of days and decided after wandering around the first night to go here for dinner. We were not disappointed. The drinks were amazing and the food was just as good as were the staff, super...More

The menu is full of great and somewhat different choices. It was nice to see the remodeling too- nice job! The food choices weren't only fun to look through but everything our table ordered was wonderful, fresh and a great value! Music was too loud...More

We had supper here the first night and was good quality food, so tasty, a bit pricy, but worth it. We had the great Northern wrap, was great. There fries are very good also. The gin and tonics are the best here, ask for spotted...More

Truthfully I went there for an early dinner with low expectations. The delicious steelhead trout was a very pleasant surprise. The plate presentation was lovely as the perfectly seasoned fish was served over a bed of pearl couscous and asparagus. The salad portions are huge....More

We come to Whitefish two or three times per year. I wrote an Anti-review a couple of years ago because we were seated and then never acknowledged again. Things have been much better the last couple of visits. We were seated immediately last night and...More

Cocktails were good. I really enjoyed the trout. Second time I had the spinach salad, also quite good.

The wait staff was full of recommendations for other restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed sitting at the bar.

The atmosphere is kind of fun - a pub with lots of tables, a nice-looking bar, and great lighting. The service was the worst I can remember having, ever. I ordered a cheeseburger, and while I'm not normally picky, I do have to eat my...More

We arrived in to town late in the evening and went here for a bite. The bartender was so kind and helped us to get our order in before the kitchen closed. The food was delicious - much better than your average "bar food". The...More

Right downtown. We had a delicious supper on a cute patio served by a super friendly waitress who seemed to enjoy her job. Recommend!

Description
Located in downtown Whitefish, the recently renovated & reinvented Craggy Range boasts innovative gastropub fare, an extensive offering of creative libations, flat screens, pool tables, a full service patio, and a live music stage. The heart of Craggy's local gastropub atmosphere is the centrally located bar featuring 16 craft beer taps. The innovative menu along with knowledgeable service that's never stuffy or pretentious, and a persistent, creative high energy atmosphere provide a popular community gathering place. During the renovation, an historical wall of hand-painted sign art on cinder blocks was revealed. The wall art includes local family names going back three and four generations in Whitefish, including the Goble and Sillaker families. Word on the street has it that the wall is from the old Hanging Tree. The wall now serves as a focal point to the centrally located bar, home to a large flat screen TV which covers an old window cut-out in the center of the historical find. In addition to the hand-painted sign art, some other unique and edgy additions are the garage style front windows, the longest frost bar in Montana, a railroad foot rail around the bar, sixteen flat screens, including two on the patio, and an upgraded stage area for live music. The expanded central bar and open feel of the entire space creates a fun and interactive experience for watching the game, listening to live music, and enjoying dining with friends and family.
