We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was well prepared and the service was very friendly. Best of all was the dessert. The pies were simply outstanding. Whichever one you decide on you cannot go wrong. They were so good we stopped the following night and got some to go.

We stopped over on our way out of YNP towards SLC in the afternoon. I had salad from Salad Bar and wife had a garden burger. Salad bar was alright. Most of it seemed to come from salad bags but given the location, i think this was acceptable. My wife thought garden burger was pretty good, fries were of really... More

We stopped in after a long day in Yellowstone for dinner. Salad bar was well stocked with crisp greens and both soups were very good. Service was very friendly.

We had an early start for our Yellowstone day. We went here because it was next door to the place we stayed. Service was a little slow, not bad. Bacon was a little cold. Pancakes were a little overdone. It was all just ok. $28 for two pancakes, four pieces of bacon, and two small orange juices.

We arrived late into West Yellowstone and were lucky enough to arrive at Timberline Cafe just before closing. It's located on the main road that leads to the west entrance of the park. We couldn't have made a better choice for dinner! The service was fantastic - very friendly. Dinner was great!!! Our party of 3 shared the bison burger,... More

We went here our first night for dinner. I thought they were pricey for the cold, generic food we got. I had the taco salad. Everything was cold. I don't know how the ground beef was prepared. There was more lettuce than anything. The kitchen staff kept staring at us through the window into the dining room. My husband had... More

We had lunch here while in West Yellowstone. Very good food. Great service, convenient , easy parking, would have eaten here again if we were staying in the area.

We traveled to this area to visit Yellowstone Park, and were so delighted that we found this restaurant. It is home cooked food at its finest. Tom and Dee own it and both work every day making it work well. The service we got there was better than five stars, and the food was just awesome. I had homemade stew... More

Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy with what we ordered. Had French toast and biscuits and gravy. The meal was timely, hot and tasty. Convenient because it is on the doorstep of Yellowstone's West Entrance.

Coming out of Yellowstone NP in the middle of a driving snow, Timberline provided a nice, warm meal (hamburger for one, chili for the other) in a not so noisy atmosphere. The waitstaff were quick to get things for you, and very friendly. If you are looking for a place for lunch or dinner coming out of Yellowstone, choose this... More
