We really enjoyed this place! must try jalapeno wontons! Had hoped to try prime rib but we were too early. start serving at 5. We tried elk snd bison burgers. Elk was the best, but enjoyed trying something new. ultimately, theres a reason beef burgers are sold everywhere. You just cant beat it! would return if we could!

Fried entre was greasy, French Fries were wilted and extremely salty. Dinner salad was wilted and looked to have been around for some time and not refrigerated. Waitress response was "Sorry" here is you bill. The place looks great, the booze looked good, but as I said if you are looking for a good meal, just walk on by.

We are so lucky that we stopped in here for supper. Starting with the fantastic service and the great food there were some amazing beer to try. My husband had an amazing burger and I had tasty fish and chips. Both of us opted for a salad and they were fresh and crisp. Slip on into the Otter for a... More

We loved this place so much, we went back all three days we we're here. The first day we were served by Casey and she made recommendations for both beers and food and did not lead us astray! Husband had the "best ever" onion soup which he ended up having all three days! For the next two days, we were... More

My brother and I visited this restaurant for dinner after a long day in Yellowstone. We both got the elk burger and fries. For being elk, I expected some wow factor, but was disappointed. It didn't taste gamey, and I couldn't really tell it was elk. Honestly, it tasted like a burger I could get anywhere else. It wasn't bad,... More

Sports bar, brew pub atmosphere with friendly staff. Limited menu. We had a very adequate steak salad. Service was quick. Good spot for a meal with reasonable prices.

We wandered in with friends from Scotland and loved the music (70's Euro-Rock & Roll) & the service. Lamb burger was exceptional, elk burger a little dry but great flavor. Good salads and beer also.

After a full day of adventures we found ourselves looking for and open kitchen after 9:00 pm and the Slippery Otter fit the bill. I had a Bison burger and my husband had an Elk burger. They were both delicious, juicy and cooked to perfection. Great service and food to match a must eat place in West Yellowstone,
