Tammy organizes and serves diverse menu choices with panache and great taste. Daily soups and specials stand out and old faves like nachos loaded continue to delight customers. And, of course, all types of amazing and traditional drinks are available. This is a very clean environment and a happy place to visit.

This is hands down my all time favorite restaurant. I've been here on more than one occasion and every experience was incredible with both the food and the service. There are so many options in this restaurant; it is both family and party friendly with an unbelievable amount of room for whatever your plan is. The service here is wonderful... More

Awesome food. Comfortable atmosphere. Cold beer. My favorite appetizer is spinach artichoke dip. Come hot and bubbly

One of the few eateries in town with a parking lot...trust me, it's a big deal! We came in to Missoula to look at venues for a "Meet & Greet" reception for impending nuptials, and the Iron Horse provided the best options. (The upstairs room with separate bar and access to the outdoor patio were key to our decision. Not... More

I am in town to see Elton John,I flew in from Wyoming, met with friends at the Iron Horse. Outstanding place the combo of dining and bar very well done. To top it all my server was outstanding, she said her name was Wildflower "lol" don't know about that, but she was very busy and still smiled, laughed with us,... More

The Iron Horse offers a nice selection of brews (there is also food) but it was far too loud for us. We would have liked to sample more but due to our discomfort, we had only one and left.

The Iron Horse is deceptively much bigger than you think when you first walk in. In the summer it offers outside dining, has two bars on two levels and a menu to satisfy any appetite. Service is good, never a long wait. They don't take reservations but I have always been able to find a table no matter what the... More

Sometimes for a lunch, sometimes for a pre-event dinner, we can always count on The Iron Horse to provide a good, quick meal in an exceptionally cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.

While the atmosphere is fun, especially with the great outdoor seating sections, the food quality is something of hit-or-miss. Have had some great meals there and others not so impressive. The service is good and the drinks are good. Exceptional, not really, nice and ok.

Iron Horse felt like a Brew Pub that does food as a sideline. All of our food was good, but by no means great - it makes it more obvious that at least one of their competitors in town does a great job on both food and beer. Service was average - not bad, and our server let us know... More
