We have been here about four times, and it's great. Service is friendly and quick, and the food is good. Sometimes a bit on the salty side. I had an elk burger the first time we came and it was good. I couldn't tell a huge difference between Elk and beef but it was late, we were starving and perhaps... More

We have eaten here several years in a row. The food is cooked just as you order it, and the portions are huge!

We ate here on one of the 3 nights that we stayed in the area. I really enjoyed my steak...really good. I will definitely eat here once back in the area.

This place was recommended by our hotel, and it was just awful. They were out of half the things we ordered, so we decided on steak and roast beef sandwich. The salads were wilted The steak was tough, and the baked potato was lukewarm. The beef was tough and tasteless, and the mashed potatoes were lumpy and lukewarm. The gravy... More

We went for a late lunch on a Sunday. My husband was happy, they had their delicious prime rib their Saturday special. It was very tender. I had the BLT salad with chicken on top. We shared the wonderful cream huckleberry pie. Bill came to $43 including tax and tip

Nice quiet atmosphere...I had the bison chopped steak w/baked potato and side veggie...large meal/incredibly awesome. No alcohol is served here. The only complaint I had was when I asked the waitress if they had coffee or tea. She hesitated and said no but I can make some...almost seemed as if it was a problem to make it. The answer in... Stopped in for dinner. Service that evening wasn't very prompt due to a single waiter (until another showed up later). Food was good. I had the Prime Rib (very good) and my wife had a burger (also very good). Huckleberry cream pie was excellent but different from the usual h-berry pie.

Simple restaurant with somewhat limited seating. Only one waitress the night we were there and she was very busy. But, she was also very friendly and took care of customers as quickly as she could, with a smile. Food was fine and huckleberry cream pie very good. Prices were reasonable.

The food was ok, what really dashed my expectations was that when the waiter gave me my change he didn't give me any singles. This is an old trick used by wait staff to boost tips. He got his extra but I won't be back. Carolyn's will get all of my business this stay.

Thank Christine F
