Smelled like mildew inside, Burger was dry, smelled suspicious, and seriously overpriced. obnoxious drunk customer and waiter ducking outside suspiciously, having a toke probably. None of my business usually, but it effected service.

Very friendly, very nice atmosphere (incl. fireplace) and really good food. Enjoyed it the first time, so came back for more the next night. It was a pleasant surprise to find a green, clean, leafy salad in Cooke City in the wintertime! Hope to return soon.

This was a great find. It was cold and snowing and their 'open' sign was on so we stopped. The whole staff was involved in providing service, answering questions and preparing delicious meals for each of us. We were so impressed we went back the next day !! Try it - you will like the food, service and atmosphere.

The menu is limited, but the food is well prepared. Wait staff are attentive and helpful. The Bistro was a pleasant treat in this remote town where every other eating establishment is in a noisy saloon.

The menu had many wonderful looking options but I chose the lamb chops. They were absolutely delicious. Even though I was with a group of more than 10 people service was quick and friendly. Save room for dessert as the pies and creme brûlée were a wonderful surprise.

This was our lunch stop after driving from Salt Lake to a cabin we'd hired just outside Yellowstone Park in Cooke City. This is a small place but parking was easy to find right outside, and once the orders were taken we waited with a cleansing beer for not too long before our hamburgers arrived. Boy did they hit the... More

During our Yellowstone vacation, we stayed in Silver Gate and went to the Bistro in Cooke City for dinner. The place didn't seem to have that many tables, but we waited a very long time for any kind of service, to say nothing of our meals. The poor service is why I downgraded my rating. Once it arrived, the Fettuccine... More

A limited menu of typical American food. Just outside the National Park in this small town. A very nice atmosphere in unpretentious surroundings.

This place is very small with I think one cook and one waitress who was an outstanding person from Romania. I ate breakfast at this place in Cooke City and I would not eat at any other place...the choices were slim to begin with. The pancake was outstanding. The sausage patty i received was the best ever and you could... More

We arrived from the park after 7pm. Most everything was closed. The Bistro was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly employees. We had a grilled cheese sandwich, and a hamburger. Both were very good.

Thank Mary W
