I had a Societyposh and it was delicious. My husband had burnt ends and it was almost more than he could eat! Good food!

You can't beat Kehde's BBQ! The posh's are delicious! They have a great variety of potatoes and all are great! Also, love the portabellas! Not thrilled with the Mexican options (sampled when friends bought), but why are you there to eat Mexican food since it's...More

What an interesting place. Part of the dining area is an old RR dining car which is where I sat. Although quite busy the service was quick and friendly. The house salad was above average but nothing spectacular. The pork spareribs were some of the...More

Excellent food, good service! A little on the pricey side, but, a really good meal. Worth the drive from Warrensburg.

What more appropriate place to eat when riding the Katy Trail? I ate lunch there and had the prime rib sandwich, fresh cut fries and coconut custard pie. Sandwich was good, fries were great, pie was disappointing. Neat atmosphere. We sat in an actual dining...More

Kehde's has good food and decent prices along with great interiors from the train car section to the main level with its old fashioned fans. Waiters and waitresses are fun and very informative about the menu and specials as there is almost always a special...More

Sorry. Just saw your question. To the best I can remember I do not remember any ‘hickory’ smell either in the air or in the taste of the food.
