Really fantastic. It is clear that the chef really cares. Everything is perfect! You can tell from the little details like how they cut the food that everything is perfect. This place is amazing. Good prices too! Very clean!

The only thing I knew about Nicaragua before was that the people there speak Spanish but, now I realized that their food is 'da bomb!' I am a frequent visitor here and maybe it's because of the latino/hispanic culture but, the workers here are crazy friendly. They run out of desserts fast here so the owner, Orlando, told me to... This Latin haven blew me away with their delicious food (maduros, black beans & white rice, zucchini Empanadas) and drink (Lime margarita). Everything was literally amazing. The awesome service matched the art filled, flavorfully decorated restaurant. Red walls, Latin music in the background, personable service, all made me feel like I was on a Nicaraguan getaway.

This place offers traditional Nicaragua food, which is rather hard to find in the US. I've personally worked in Nicaragua for a year, so I really missed the food. I found this place on the internet and decided to visit. They are located off the busy road, so you can park on the side of the road. The restaurant offers... More

Was told this Nicaraguan restaurant was one of the best latin places in St. Louis. The place did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. The owner went to the table to welcome us and was really appreciative of us coming to the restaurant. The only bad thing I can say is that they did... More

Found this restaurant on zapato. We were not disappointed! They had a whole fried tilapia with tomato and pepper sauce on top. My husband is Haitian and they take eating fish seriously- he ate it all!!! Tostones (fried green plantain) with fried cheese (SO good!), fried sweet plantain, rice and red or black beans, pickled cabbage salad, carne asada, chicken... More

This is a neighborhood restaurant serving Nicaraguan food. There was a variety of options so our whole group was happy. I had bean empanadas, which weren't actually on the menu, but they made them for me because they had run out of zucchini for the zucchini empanadas. Service was excellent.

Had a great family lunch starting with 3 of the appetizers and then enjoyed the fried chicken with rice and beans and plantain and banana's. Very friendly staff and fast service.

Delicious from another country. The food transports you to Central America. Best plantains I have ever eaten. We sat at an outside table and enjoyed every bite from empanadas to chimichurri.

As a suggestion from a friend in St. Louis, she said to try Fritanga. It's off the beaten path from downtown or Delmar for example. Tried the churrasco nica (grilled skirt steak) with chimichurri sauce and it was so flavorable that I could not put my knife and fork down. The accompanying maduros were neatly presented and was a welcome... More
