I opened my first vegan restaurant in 1972 in the UK and have eaten veggie burgers in uncountable restaurants and cafés in Europe, Canada and the USA. I ate the Sweet Burger on Saturday at "Sweet Art" and the patty was the best ever. No great effort had been made to create a simulacrum of a meat-based patty, but the... More

I've had their vegan baked goods before...but I got to experience their full breakfast. Wow! We pigged out because there were so many unique menu items to choose from. They even had vegan pop tarts made from scratch in house. These aren't like the little stamped rectangles from the box, these were big pastries with ample filling. I also had... More

Great vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options as well. Our daughter loves this restaurant and I have been able to find options that I like even though I am a meat and potatoes guy. Their pancakes, potatoes and sausage are an amazing choice for breakfast and the sweet burger is a great lunch choice!!

We had the chocolate cupcake with strawberry frosting. Very pleased with it, not overly sweet. The cupcake had a fluffyness about it. We had a ginger cookie too that will cure a sweet tooth.

It's both a bakery and a restaurant too! Lots of great baked sweets, plus gluten free and vegan also. Cupcakes were yummy. They also had a nice offering of lunch type foods, and I saw a breakfast menu as well. Lots of healthy offerings. Place had a dozen tables and was clean with friendly service. It was priced pretty standard... More

Looking for all an natural meal that melts in your mouth? Sweet Art is the absolute place to be! Everything on the menu is delicious. Save room for dessert. My personal favorite is the red velvet cupcakes. You can't go wrong with anything you order. It's ALL good! While you're there enjoy the original artwork by the owner.

I called to order a BASIC, NORMAL birthday cake after checking the high-star reviews of this bake shop on the internet. Gal was friendly enough but I should have seen red flags when she kept pushing gluten free or vegan "options", even after I INSISTED I wanted a traditional birthday cake with sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla. No problem, she... More

A friend recommended this place and I had a few hours while she had out patient surgery at SLU. I had a GF blueberry muffing, which was delicious, though a bit heavy. The chai latte was also good - it came unsweetened and I had to add my own agave. Located on a side street a few blocks from Tower... More

My husband and I were in St Louis for a wedding and were really happy to find this vegan-friendly bakery/cafe. The vegan cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had, whether vegan or not. The vegan pancakes were good but I wish we'd tried one of the more interesting breakfast options, like huevos rancheros or tofu scramble. The tea and... More
