Everything was good and portions were ample although not abundant. The selection was narrow so hope you like what is on the menu that night. The prices are high but so is quality of preparation and food.

I have been to Farmhaus...there is a big hype! It was too loud for comfortable conversation. The service was TOO casual for a high price. You weren't hip if you asked questions about some of the unusual dishes. It would be worth trying it again...More

The food was amazing and so was the staff/service. The menu changes weekly, but the mushroom bacon salad I had was phenomenal! My boyfriend got the steak, which was also very tasty! The best part was the deconstructed cheesecake we had for dessert. Our waiter...More

We arrived as they were opening and asked us to give them a few minutes while they printed the daily menu. Cocktails were spot on while they were printing. Summer salads with fresh vegetables, tagliatelle bolognese, pork loin with dirty rice (tasted like a nice...More

We were spoiled beyond belief for dinner last night at Farmhaus. From start to finish the service was exemplary (and probably the best I have ever experienced). Our food was absolutely delicious. The Chef accomodated our vegan daughter (who was offered several customized entrees). My...More

We ate with friends at Farmhaus on a weekend evening. We had been here 3-4 times before; it was not our friends’ first visit either. We like the menu and the service was very good. The chef puts a lot of imagination into his work....More

We we're aware that this would be a pricier meal before eating, but did not realize how small of portions they would offer. The food options involved a lot of farm to table ingredients, which I admire. However, I feel as if it was still...More

When researching restaurants for our visit to St.Louis we came upon this place from an Andrew Zimmern show. We were glad we came. About a ten minute drive from downtown/the arch. A simple but elegant white table cloth dining room but fine to dress casually....More

I took a road trip up to St. Louis to visit a friend. Since I love great wine & food, she made reservations at Farmhaus (having heard great reviews but never having been there). We arrived early in spite of the rain, so we opted...More

Farmhaus is just off I-44 on Ivanhoe. Free street parking is a plus. Limited but wonderful menu and prices are reasonable. The Butchers Plate alone is reason to go. Beets with blood oranges was salad on our visit and we all liked. Wahoo was the...More

You'll see a range from business casual to jeans and a tshirt. I'd recommend black jeans and a top or a sundress for ladies and slacks with a button down or golf shirt for gentlemen.
