Our server was a sweet lady. We got 2 plates of breakfast staples. My pancake was meh, but the 1st one you make is never the best. The breakfast potatoes are very good and my bacon was done perfectly. Well done. We were there during the week but it seemed pretty empty.

Triumph Grill has great burgers and salads, and the deep-fried spinach is excellent. It's a great before- or after-stop for people heading to the Fox, Powell Hall and events at St. Louis University.

We stopped here for breakfast when we stayed at Hotel Ignacio. I ordered 2 eggs plus. Everything on my plate was delicious & cooked exactly as I requested. Definitely worth the money. My husband loved the traditional eggs benedict & he’s really picky. We didn’t expect much from the breakfast potatoes but they were great. Good service too. We almost... More

The Triumph Grill accommodated our group of 10 for lunch in fine fashion with good service and separate checks. The menu is rather extensive and we enjoyed everything from flash-fried spinach and nacho appetizers to grilled sandwiches, soups, salads, and homemade potato chips. The walls are covered with pictures of motorcycles and it is conveniently located next to the motorcycle... More

The restaurant feels more like a chain restaurant, with all the memorabilia on walls and a bunch of scruffy waiters running around. Connected to the boutique Hotel Ignacio, we expected the restaurant to be a bit more sleek and sophisticated, but it's not. It offers typical diner-fare menu, all kind of bland and underwhelming.

Really cool decorations make for a lot to look at. This was our first trip here, so I can't speak for everything. I ordered the flat bread and the house salad. Both were very good. My husband ordered the gumbo. He said it was very good. Our waiter was very efficient. He was always keeping our water glasses full. The... More

From appetizer to dessert, the food was excellent. Service was timely & friendly. Enjoyed the banana bread pudding and highly recommend it. The smoked trout salad (a special) was wonderful. Will return.

This is attached to Hotel Ignacio and is the primary restaurant for the property. The food is simple but hearty, flavorful and lovingly prepared, or so it seems. Good bar with nice people helping you. Really surprised me. Note to the manager: PLEASE do not let go of the Chicken Saltimbocca. I was told by one of the bartenders it... More
