This is a unique place, with a very interesting decor. The food is fabulous, as is the staff. We had a big group, and they took care of us with no problem. Highly recommend for a fun afternoon lunch.

This is a popular venue for people attending performances at the Fox Theater and Powell Symphony Hall, those customers will be well-dressed. You will be just as welcome in jeans or shorts. The soups, salads, and sandwiches are great and the portions are generous. There is also an old-fashioned soda fountain with a variet of ice cream treats. You will be... More

The food is average but the ice cream drinks fused with alcohol are delicious! They have a large assortment and the wait staff is very good at describing them. The drinks are moderately priced and are made in a large glass! Excellent stop in the summer time!

I've visited this fun place twice after my initial time to share it with family and friends. There isn't anything else like it in our area, at least to my knowledge, so I highly recommend you check it out. Why? First, it is in a cool space on a street which 80 years ago was filled with car dealers and... More

Interesting place to explore...great soups and milkshakes (regular or "adult"). Not a huge menu but everything we tried was very good.

The atmosphere is very urban in a good way. The service is excellent. The prices are reasonable. Best of all, the food is fabulous. The ice cream combinations are ingenious.

I went for lunch for the first time with a colleague, and was it a treat. The drink and dessert menus are unbelievable, but since it was a business meeting we opted for just plain food. It certainly wasn't plain and the place was jumping. The only down side I have to offer is that there is no good waiting... More

I can't say enough good things about The Fountain on Locust. The food is so expertly prepared. The Gypsy Soup was terrific with amazing flavors in it. My ravioli was so unusual and delicious. The marinara sauce on them was true perfection. The coconut almond joy sundae I had for dessert is one of my favorite desserts. It is heavenly.
