We showed up at 11 am on Saturday to make sure we didn't have to wait in a lengthy line. There were a few people ahead of us, but by the time we'd decided what we wanted, it was our turn. The food came out...More

We went for a late lunch around 2:30 because I've heard that it's hard to get in at meal times. We had a short wait. Great atmosphere. My daughter and I split a full rack of ribs dinner. The ribs were very tender and tasty,...More

Pappy's is a unique local spot with awesome BBQ! There's always a line to get in but they keep it moving! We had the ribs and pulled pork, it was delicious. Definitely get the sweet potato fries as a side.

Being from NC I had to try the BBQ ribs while in St.Louis. Wow these ribs were wonderful! Meaty, rack was plenty and needed nothing added, Opps, except cold beer, which I ndiscovered across the hall. Interesting that Pappy's has Piedmont and Western NC vinegar...More

We went for an early dinner on a Tuesday night. Place was busy but not crazy. The line to order was relatively quick. Prices a bit high but not outrageous. Wait for food was reasonable. I had ribs and brisket with green beans and sweet...More

I am an avid grilled and occasional smoker of all things meat. When I was told I needed to go to Pappy's I was skeptical. Mind officially blow. The burnt ends were to die for. I wasn't thrilled with the sides, but seriously, I didn't...More

It's one thing to serve some of the best BBQ in St. Louis, but they could also teach other restaurants about exceptional customer service, with a small. How do they move all the people through so fast, and then deliver your exact order to your...More

I had the baked potato with pulled chicken, loaded with beans, cheese, and onions. This was definitely a meal for a hungry person, and it was absolutely delicious. I brought that idea home to my family in NC and we have had it twice for...More

Hello: Thanks for your great Pappy's review. I am quite nervous though. Will be visiting the city for the first time in early Feb. Thinking of going for dinner at approx 5-6pm. Based upon what you said, quite worried about availability. Any thoughts? Much thanks!
