My family was hosting a special occasion in St. Joe. We were celebrating a baptism, a wedding anniversary and a birthday all right around the same time. We wanted to something a little more upscale considering the magnitude of the events. Only a few places in St. Joe seemed appropriate and only JC Wyatt returned our initial inquiry. They did... What a fun place to eat. The food is fine dining at its best. The baked chocolate truffle is quite simple the most marvelous dessert ever concocted.

My family lives in St. Joseph and I visit once a year from New York, a city notorious for our fantastic restaurants. That said, I've found the JC Wyatt House to be so outstanding that it's become a tradition for my annual visit. The food is always fresh and wonderfully cooked, the service is friendly and fast - we never... More

This is probably the best restaurant in St. Joseph. Housed in a beautiful old home, it is not only a wonderful taste experience but a feast for the eyes. It is an intimate setting with limited seating so reservations are required. A wonderfully creative meal. We had a choice of three appetizers. When we made our reservations we had to... More

The food is excellent. The restaurant is in a beautifully restored Victorian house. You will be able to connect with the owner who has great appreciation for the slow pace of St. Joseph, MO. He was a former New York City restaurant owner. Big city taste in little old St. Joe!

I don't know where to start. Everything everyone was served was incredible. I especially loved the salmon, salad, dessert trio, raspberry tea, and coffee. A group of us went for lunch. I'm not sure that I have ever described a meal and location as RELAXING, but it was. You can really taste how much care they put into everything. I... More

This is my favorite restaurant in St. Joe. The food is top notch. I love the iced tea. I had the entree salad with grilled chicken, candied nuts and cranberries. It was perfectly dressed. The homemade roll was to die for. And then speaking of things to die for, the trio of desserts is on my "last meal list". You... More

excellent meal in historic setting. small venue but great for couples, friends or business meal. you have to call ahead by at least a month to make reservations and at the time the reservations are made, you have to select the meal of your choice. they try to purchase as fresh of ingredients as possible just prior to preparing it.
