My husband and I pulled into town and needed some dinner. The restaurant was not very full. We sat at the bar so we could stand after such a long ride. After our server Cory provided a sample, I ordered a local brew on tap (Piney River Company Walnut Wheat) and enjoyed it immensely. I ordered the steak tips with... More
I've been to Rolla many times, but I always passed this place by because tt looks too much like a chain-restaurant, not my favorite place to grab a meal. I like the local, one-off, unique places. But I have to admit, it was a good meal! The salads were large, fresh, and tasty! I had the two pork chop dinner,... More
We went there for supper & enjoyed a good meal of steak, baked potatoes, salad & hot rolls. The staff was friendly & the place was clean.
This is an upper end steak place but not at the top. We almost always go to Coltons when we visit Rolla to see our kids while they are in college. Stopped in last night after driving for 15 hours. Being from NY I love my strip steak. I think I would love any piece of meat they put in front of me... it was perfect. Service was spot on. If you leave here hungry I can not fathom how that could be.
Ate lunch there and ordered the 10 ounce chopped sirloin. It was cooked fine but not a ten ounce portion...closer to a 1/4 pounder. Maybe the 10 oz. includes the weight of the onions, peppers and onion tangles?
