Our party ordered tacos, Carlitos burrito, and desert. This is a locally owned, wonderful family who will treat you right. A tiny place to have some excellent Mexican food. I'm vegetarian and had Carlitos burrito, substituting the beef with rice. Fresh ingredients, loved the extra hot sauce and cinnamon crisps.

We had lunch here last week and I did not like it much. The sauce and food were really basic and bland. The atmosphere is pretty poor too. I hear a lot of local people like it and are regulars, so I guess you can check it out for yourself. The prices are good and the staff is friendly.

Not sure what restaurant Markana is reviewing but there are NO chips on the table. You can buy chips and salsa. You can buy nachos that are pretty tasty for the price. The place is basically like fast food but more made at home quality. I have gone here for years. During the school year I teach in New Mexico... More

Tasty, quality food. This is a sweet little independently, family-owned & operated Mexican restaurant...quaint but quality. The food is R.E.A.L. And good. But most importantly, real. The chicken is hand-ground, true boneless-skinless chicken breast. I love the seasonings he puts on it. If you're looking for fancy, corporate, or drive-thru, this isn't it. This is down-home, quality, g'ma fixes it... More

I give Carlito's 3 stars, but not because I think that it only deserves 3 stars. I reserve the highest rating for the "nicest" surroundings, pleasing atmosphere, and the most flavorful and extensive service and menu offerings. Carlito's is a walk in, fast food Mexican place. One goes about ordering their food at Carlito's in the same fashion that they... More

We have gone to Carlitos a couple of times and have tried the beef tacos and nachos. They don't skimp on the meat and other toppings. (Three tacos and I was stuffed!) We live a few blocks away and enjoy having a place to go for a quick meal. The two guys working there are always friendly and seem to... More

I hate to admit I've lived in the Raytown area all of my life and only recently discovered Carlitos! It's a small, intimate Mexican restaurant situated in the shopping center at the corner of 63rd Street and Woodson in Raytown. I take my family there at least once a week, now. Regular tacos can be purchased at the counter for... More

Love that the chips are at the table almost before I am. The choices are huge as our the servings which usually go home in a go bag. Love the refills on drinks and the coupons to make dining affordable.

Nothing fancy here but the food is fresh, tasty and not greasy. Also, it is very affordable and it is family run and been here forever so that is a great sign. More fast food than anything but the burritos and the tacos are great eats. No beer but other than that I will be going again.
