From our delicious lunch at Chappell's Restaurant, to one block west on Armor was the Le Monde Bakery. We had already decided to enjoy dessert at this popular place. Their variety of puff pastries and all other kinds was extraordinary and the prices? WELL within reasonable. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We plan on going back as many... More

Stopped by on our way to st. Louis. They have a few tables and big bright displays for all their baked goods. So many yummy options, but I love Pain au chocolat reminds me of being in Paris. I got that and a ham and cheese for my husband. His was huge and he said tasted great, he only wished... More

Get there early for your choice. From sandwich to desserts but they go fast. While I ate my chicken salad the cream cheese one sold out! Just a few tables. Everything looked good.

I am over the moon for the croissants at Le Monde Bakery in North KC! I brought 3 dozen of their beautiful, delicious pastries to a meeting at an ad agency recently and everyone was thrilled! Believe me, those ad folks are picky, and they were in awe of the pastry. The best croissants ever, bar none. What a treat!... More

Two days in a row I got goodies from here! The spring rolls and soups are fresh and made from quality ingredients and DELICIOUS!! The pastries are wonderful-my kids love the chocolate croissants because they are full of chocolate. The baguettes are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside (exactly the way they are supposed to be!) Quick... More

We love to go here for breakfast when we visit KC. The pain au chocolat tastes as it does in Paris. They serve strong coffee to go with it. They don't have a full breakfast - just pastries but they are very good.

Le Monde Bakery has the best French pastries made from their flaky, delicious dough - croissants, breakfast rolls, ham & cheese rolls. Depending on the season and time of day, they may have loaves of bread and yummy dinner rolls for sale too. They use their croissants for wonderful sandwiches - egg salad, chicken salad, etc. For lunch they usually... More

Very very good food. Ham and cheese croissant was absolutely fantastic. Place needs some sprucing up. But this is a place that can really satisfy you.

I met my girlfriend for lunch and had the most amazing chicken curry soup with rice. It had just the right amount amount of spice and was absolutely delicious! The seating is extremely limited, so we stood to the side until a table opened up. I'm sure the outdoor seating in warmer weather would be more accommodating. The bakery personnel... More
