Aixois is a reliably good place for lunch, dinner, or coffee and dessert. The food is consistently good and well prepared, and they offer a nice variety of options as well as a good wine list.

Aixois is a great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. The mussels and pommes frites are amazing. It is kid friendly and has a great wine list. Enjoy the patio when the weather is nice!

Don’t go on Sunday! We went tonight to celebrate a birthday. We had escargot and it was tasteless and chewy. We had to send back. For our entree we had hanger steak (salty), trout (Good) and pasta with seafood (tasteless and pasta undercooked). Only salvation...More

This is quaint and authentic French cuisine. It was a beautiful day so we had lunch outside where you can definitely appreciate the greenery and the neighborhood feel. The service was great, servers friendly. The food was very good, except for the large inedible item...More

My husband and I both love this place. The food is incredible, and you can tell it's made from quality ingredients. The patio is nice, and they even have a few tables with poles you can tie your dog to. We will definitely be returning.

Description
Aixois is a classic French bistro in Kansas City’s Brookside neighborhood, just a few blocks from the world-famous Country Club Plaza. Nestled on the Trolley Trail in the Crestwood Shops, Aixois offers Kansas City’s best outdoor patio and an intimate, relaxed dining room. Emmanuel Langalde, a native of Aix-en-Provence, opened Aixois with his wife Megan in 2001. Chef Emmanuel, inspired by the techniques and recipes of his native France, offers a distinct menu focused on fresh, organic, seasonal ingredients. He also works with area farmers, butchers, and bakers to bring local flavor to his classic French cuisine.
