An excellent place for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant has a artsy feel--fun. Supporting local farmers, the food is fresh, home cooking. Breakfast is served all day and is the bomb! Their selection of cake and pie is good. It is affordable and friendly. Relatively large menu--I recommend the Kitchen Sink!

We felt right at home here! It is rare to have a server as friendly & genuinely helpful as ours was--she went out of her way for us (thanks, Jennifer)! The place was packed full when we arrived for Friday a.m. brunch (we loved our Maggie Cristo, Pigs in a Blanket and Burrito of Love - huge servings)! A hip... More

Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday. Place busy but was quickly seated. If there is a wait, they have available coffee outside. There is a wall with names of those who succeeded in eating the Sumo (Food Network Food Challenge). Ordered 2 blueberry pancakes the size of pizzas! Others had the Smoked Salmon Egg White Omelet and chocolate chip pancakes... More

I went here with a friend for lunch one day to try their gluten free blueberry pancakes which were pretty good; however I tried on of their juices and I don't know if I have ever had anything so bad in my life. The menu description of the drinks does not tell you that they all contain just splashes of... More

We were looking for a new place to try and Succotash had been suggested to us by a co-worker. They said it was the best place for breakfast or brunch in Kansas City, so we had to check it out. We stopped by last Sunday morning (which happened to be pretty chilly) and found there to be a wait of... More

Another successful work day lunchtime adventure! Huge portions, and truly delicious food. We had the Cuban sandwich and Maggie Cristo. We could not finish all the potatoes, but we made a good try on the sandwiches. Actually, two people could share one meal, unless they waited all morning to eat, then they might be able to finish a whole plate... More

These guys have nailed it. We had a party of 8 - and EVERY single one of us loved their order. Portions are huge, prices are great, and service is top notch. Atmosphere is fun and eclectic. I had the Crab Claw Omelet - told the waiter I needed it GLUTEN-FREE and they made it in a separate pan without... More

In town for a conference and this has been our breakfast of choice for the past couple of years. Amazing juices and the coffee is excellent. Typical American breakfast fare, but ALL excellent. Looking forward to coming back next year

What a fun place. Eclectic design, good breakfast selections. Great specials. Lobster Benedict was awesome, as well as bourbon caramel sauce over pecan french toast. Server was a very attentive and friendly young man. Out visit was on a weekday and we had no issues getting a seat. The only downside was no mimosa's or bloody Mary's. :( Great juice... More

A friend and I went to breakfast here recently on a Sunday. I was impressed with their beverage choices--they even had Mexican-style Coke (made with cane sugar). For the meal, I chose a Smoked Salmon Egg White Omelet. It was delicious. Smoked Salmon is always a good way to start the day, but with the omelet -- it was perfect.... More
