Actually, this cafe has the best spring rolls of anywhere in the world so far. The peanut sauce that comes with them is sensational. To round out a meal I get the bun noodles with extra peanut sauce.

Wanted to try this place, but they do not serve in the restaurant. I was really disappointed and ended up next door for dinner. Sorry for the terrible review, but I could not pick another rating.
Went to this restaurant with a lunch group that always selects locally owned establishments. I think there were 6 of us and the consensus was "just ok". Service was attentive, yet they forgot the spring roll I'd ordered with lunch and I had to flag...More
I have been here several times, especially when I worked at KU. The owner and staff are so friendly and even gave me some extra peanut sauce to take home (I would seriously buy it if they sold me a jar of it to take...More
I always get fresh spring rolls with that fabulous peanut sauce. We share an order of the Vietnamese noodles. This is a casual restaurant.

Beware: various reviewers along with my own experience have confirmed the owner of this restaurant dislikes gay people, Asians, women and children. He won't hold back in making said people feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Sound like a fun time? Better yet, the food does nothing...More
This has been my family's favorite eatery since 1994 when we moved to KC. The spring rolls and pan-fried dumplings are beautiful and delicious! The peanut sauce is addictive...you can't go wrong with anything they serve.
Best shrimp spring rolls in town, cute little store front place down on 39th street (close to KU Med) - street parking available and great value for the money!
We went for Monday lunch at noon and they were decently busy with no wait. I haven't been here since the fire several years ago-the food is still good but the walls are now bare and the ambiance is suffering. We had the #1, "meatloaf"...More
