The servers aren't the best, but the food is hands-down the best comfort food. Lasagna, Stroganoff, and the Friday Fried Chicken will knock your socks off. The lemon blueberry cake and the pineapple/blueberry cobbler, awesome! My favorite place to eat for birthdays and other special occasions.

I met a friend here for dinner recently. The choices are straightforward with fairly traditional pasta selections. The garlic cheese bread was better than you can imagine. When thinking "how good can garlic cheese bread get", well, come here and try theirs. The pasta is quite thin, but holds up nicely to the sauces and cheeses. The lasagna was especially... More

We got to Anna's Oven by accident. We were planning on dining at another restaurant in the area but found it closed during renovations so we opted for Anna's Oven just up the street. It was a revelation! Anna's Oven is a cozy place of about 12 tables with huge windows fronting the street so the place was awash in... More

The Lavender infused lemon aid, then the tomato basil soup and even then the lasagna. All were very very good. This is a small place that puts love into their food.

The ambiance is quaint and what'd you expect for 39th Street. The server was a bit rude and short with answers. We would have to argue that the chicken is not the best friend chicken as rated by the Pitch. It was good, but not great. However, the traditional lasagna was fantastic. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread which... More

We went to this restaurant when our first choice was closed. OMG! We couldn't have been more pleased. We each ordered something different so that we could try several different dishes. We shared chicken and noodles, lasagna, chicken pot pie, and meatloaf. Everything was super delicious! We also shared a fruit crumble for dessert. Yummy!!! Will definitely eat here again!

More people need to eat here! Delicious homestyle comfort food in a relaxed and homey atmosphere--great prices AND they donate half (yes half) of their profits to charity!! Personally I am in love with the Mac & Cheese Blanco w/truffle oil and mushrooms, but anything will rock your tastebuds!

What happened!?!? Where has Jo gone?? We hate to admit it but this place seems to be going downhill very quickly. An ever-changing staff... They must have a revolving door in the back!?!? The food quality is not nearly what it once was. Too bad!!

Went here to eat on a Saturday night. Restaurant is cute and comfortable. Small menu but big enough to find something good to eat. They were out of a couple of things on the menu. The waitress was the " not so good" part. She could not recommend anything on the menu. When asked, she said she didn't know because... More
