If your ever in the stunning historical town of Richmond Tasmania and you have a case of the munchies then I would highly recommend the Bakery. There you can find all sorts of goodies to wet your appetite. Home made pies and delicious cakes to satisfy even the fussiest of people. Two thumbs up.

This country bakery was a real let down. Admittedly we didn't arrive until mid afternoon, but then again the bakery was open til 6pm. There was next to nothing left, and what was left was broken or looked like it had been in the pie warmer for hours and hours. As hungry as we were we couldn't bring ourselves to... More

You have to get their Pepper Steak Pie - buy 10 and put some in the freezer! that is if you don't eat them all on the way home. Also their date slice is worth the trip

We eat curried scallop pies and steak pies. Although the famous flavour recommended in most of the reviews is curried scallop, I found that the steak pie was perfectly tasty as well. The staffs were very nice and friendly. If you go to Richmond, this is a must-go cafe where you will find yourself refreshed and energized with good food... More

Went here with my teenage grandson to get a healthy lunch but was surprised that there were only pies and cakes, so we went elsewhere and found a delicious salad roll.

The steak pie was delicious and if you're eating in they have bottles of sauce for you to add to your food. Unfortunately the gluten free wrap (not advertised) was as stale and dry as anything though the insides of the wrap, chicken, cheese and mayo were tasty. A large variety of pies, sandwiches and desserts are on offer.

A perennial favourite. Always busy with inside and large courtyard table settings. Love their coffee to take down by the river and bridge to just sit and soak in the atmosphere of Australia's most complete Georgian village.

Australia Day saw my best friend and I have lunch in the court yard at the bakery. Although very busy and reduced options we were able to get great coffee and fresh mushroom pies direct from the oven- yum. Sometimes you need to be aware that seating may be limited and lines to order longer than normal.
