We heard about El Jakal from reading Trip Advisor reviews, and knew in advance that they have several vegetarian options, giving the two of us a better selection. One of us had veggie tacos followed by the cauliflower ceviche, and the other of us had a grilled mahi mahi taco followed by the coconut shrimp. The portions are large and... More

Great service, tasty food. Reasonable prices and diverse menu, even though the restaurant is small. Would definitely go back.

We found this restaurant just walking through town coming from the north end of the beach at Sayulita. Our party ate tacos which were cheap, we tried that crazy guacamole dish which was a lot of food, the coconut fish and shrimp were excellent and the pineapple bowl was awesome. We will go back again when we are in Sayulita.... More

Small and cramped which is to be expected in Sayulita. Food is average, drinks are weak the alcohol content is barely detectable. Service is adequate.

This food cart and adjoining colourful little restaurant was recommended by our hotel and as we were looking over the menu wondering if we would go in a customer on his way out said "best margaritas in town". And they are! My husband loves ceviche and their shrimp ceviche plate was outstanding. I ordered the loco guacamole which is a... More

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Sayulita, They have delicious Coconut shrimp and fish, Tequila Shrimp and it comes with a side salad and some fries. I was dying for any kind of salad in Sayulita so it was nice to get a nice plate of food at Jakal. Reasonable prices, nice waiters. Service is a little slow... More

This place is a must in Sayulita. Fresh, delicious food. We went three 5 times in 6 days and every dish was better than the last one. I tried and recommend the aguacate loco, cauliflower ceviche, been salad and fish ceviche. Juan Carlos was the best waiter. Make sure you try this place out.

I've spent almost two months in Sayulita eating almost everywhere and I still go back to Jakal as my favourite spot. A total foodie whenever I travel and this place hits all the right notes. Great and fresh seafood, try to coconut shrimp, the crazy avocado and the guacamole, also the coconut encrusted Mahi Mahi is also a must try.... More
