Classic homemade dishes as authentic as they come. Mother, daughters, aunts and cousins invite you into their home (backyard really) and cook and serve wholesome, delicious comida Mexicana for your pleasure. Everything is authentic and delicious but the pork tamales and shrimp chile rellenos are not to be missed. This is an often overlooked little gem in Sayulita that shouldn't... More

We visit Antonia's every time we visit Sayulita. Think we've been there 6 or 8 times. This is like going to someone's house for dinner. Not fancy (yes - a dirt floor but alway very clean & swept), but worth a dinner when you want some good home cooking. We always find out when they are making tamales and do... More

We loved Antonia's -- the food, the service, the atmosphere. We were looking for a place that was serving authentic Mexican, something close to home-cooked, and we found that in Antonia's. Greeted with a smile, and served up great dishes all around. We could hear and see the cooking going on in this open air space. Very affordable, sizable servings.... More

My poor surfer hubby got very sick from the polluted waters on the main beach in Sayulita. We asked the kind doctor from the 24 hour clinic to come to our hotel room 2 days in a row, as my husband was very weak and did not feel like getting up from bed or eating anything for two days. I... More

This restaurant is in an outdoor courtyard of a family's house. I think it's the grandma and daughters who cook and serve while the grandsons bus. The food is cooked individually and comes out a little slow, but well worth the wait. The pitcher of sparkling limonada is very nice and a good value. They have a very good guacamole.... More

We found the food here very average, bordering on not tasty at all. I had the chicken mole, and the sauce wasn't bad but the chicken tasted like it had been stewed in water and was definitely not tasty. Two small pieces - a drumstick and a back - seemed a tad skimpy for the price, as well. My husband... More

We ate here on our last night in Sayulita. We each had tacos, fish and shrimp, one hard, one soft. They were fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa served before the meal were good although the salsa was warm (freshly made?) and not spicy. We were a bit cautious with the tacos which had fresh lettuce and tomatoes on... More

We had seats at beach level and saw a beautiful sunset. The food was the best we had in PVR. Don't know why I ordered lasagna but it was the best I ever had! Good bang for the buck!

Very basic family restaurant. My wife and I each had a bowl of pozole and we shared an order of sopes, which came with 4 sopes. The pozole was very good. The sopes were just OK. Ordered a beer and a water, and they ran next store to the tienda to buy them. Cheap meal in a dirt-floor setting. Friendly... More
