My wife & I had lunch at The Great Viking Feast Dinner Theatre on 13 September as part of a land tour off the National Geographic Explorer. We both enjoyed the food, especially the moose stew, although there was more stew than moose meat. I did not bother with the green salad, shrimp fried rice, fish & brewis or the... More

The restaurant was a simulation of a Viking gathering, we had traditional Viking food and participated in a mock court proceeding, Viking style. It was corny, but they we skilled in making the participants funny.

I really did not like the Viking Feast in St. Anthony's. The meal was so so and the entertainment was lousy. The only people who enjoyed the entertainment were the ones on the bus tour. Personally, I like to be entertained not be the entertainment, especially when I paid for the entertainment. I do not recommend the Viking Feast unless... More

What a treat. Don't miss this if you are in the area. The food is great, the entertainment is even better. It is interactive and so much fun you will laugh and talk about it for a long time.

We had read about this attraction and were very interested in all things Viking on this first trip to Newfoundland. The sod house is unique and really interesting. The dinner was OK but certainly not a great feast. There were many things to choose from, but it was, after all, steam table food. The big disappointment was the "theatre". This... More

Characters in the show were good and realistic, food was average but I got sick from the muscles. 2 other people I know of also got sick.

Complete waste of time. This is not a dinner theatre but a poor excuse for a loud (equivalent to and less entertaining than a summer-camp production) forced on the unsuspecting people in the audience who paid too much for the mediocre buffet. Run!

Supper buffet at 1930 out of there at 2100 hrs. Food was Ok. It seemed staff prepared and served the meal was the entertainment. Show was ill prepared for smaller crowd. Overpriced for quality.
