We had a wonderful dinner last July, I believe with Michael as chef. Very romantic and charming, and friendly intimate room where it's easy to chat with each other. B&B seems lovely also, and would definitely consider staying here next time.

Had dinner reservations here on a recent trip and was very impressed! The setting in the house was awesome! Then the 4 course meal was absolutely one of the best I have had. I don't even like squash but the butternut squash stuffed shell was...More

This is a great place. Each of the four courses were each wonderful, and together even better. Chefs are great and the proprietor, from Switzerland, was an intriguing gentleman. If ever in Hermann overnight, this is a MUST DO!

This isn’t walkable from town. Need to call ahead as reservations are required with availability limited. Hope to try next time. Seems more like a B&B than Resteraunt.More

Wonderful dining experience during our stay in Hermann. The ambiance and service were wonderful. The entire four course experience took around 90 minutes. Most of the food was fabulous! Our least favorite dish was the caprese salad. The best dish was the pork tenderloin and...More

We did the Tuesday night dinner with wine tasting - the food was delicious but the portions were very small and because we did the Port & Chocolate tasting afterward, we only had 2 courses. The wine pairings were great. Atmosphere was great - very...More

My husband and I came to the Alpenhorn for our anniversary and had dinner there on Tuesday evening. This is the 2nd time we've been able to enjoy dinner at the Alpenhorn and it blew us away equally both times! Everything was fresh and expertly...More

We ate breakfast here twice (we stayed at the B&B) and also the four course dinner. It was by far the best food we had in Hermann. The breakfasts included both a sweet and savory dish each morning and were truly delicious. Everything was clearly...More

I don't believe there is a dress code - we were very casual. When you call for a reservation just ask them. They are so nice and friendly. Hope you have as much fun as we did.

We are pretty relaxed like all of Hermann. We call our dress code...wine country casual. Yes, all dinners are by advanced reservations. Thank you for your inquiry
