Food is always good, staff has never let me down.Not a big fan of chain restaurants but Cracker Barrel is the exception

Stopped here to eat. We were seated right away. Our server was nice and the food was good. Liked the gift shop area. Hated how cramped everything felt. The tables and chairs are too close together. I had a few things to do in Columbia during the morning and went to Cracker Barrell for lunch. We arrived during the lunch rush and had a short wait to be seated. Love Cracker Barrel. When you just want to eat and know what is on the menu this is the place. Had the pork chops. They were amazing along with great service!
The proximity (and walkway) from our hotel to this restaurant late in the evening was a bonus. We have always found Cracker Barrel restaurants to provide good food at a fair price.
Not sure how much this can vary. Have you been to one? Same version. Lots of breakfast and simple county cookie' fare. The location is clearly meant to capture people passing through I-70 because it's no where near anything in town.
Stopped in with my family for a late dinner, and had a fabulous time there. Our waitress Taylor was on the ball, never had to ask for drink refills as she would spot them getting low and brought more over. She was so cheerful and spunky, even taking the time to thank my husband for his service in the military.... More
