Only had one meal here. while in town for the weekend. I would have liked to try numerous items on the menu. Maybe next time. They made me an off the menu item an egg white omelet and they didn't mind at all. Food was hot and fresh and cute diner dive feel.

Great breakfast food. I've tried the pancakes and French toast. My only complaint is that the restaurant could use a renovation. The kitchen area looks really old, which makes you question things....

In all seriousness, this place is iconic for Starkville. They do some things really well, and some things really bad. Their pancakes are too thick, so they don't cook all the way through, BUT their duck butter and sausage, are great. Servers are really friendly too! Unfortunately, the times I want to go are usually when there are lines out... More

The breakfast items are really good hearty food. The sausage is house made and is excellent. The pancakes are huge and delicious. The plate lunch is great as well. Plan on a line on game weekends.

A local dive, this cafe oozes with character. Food is good, but pricey. Nothing extraordinary, but just plain good. Breakfast is a must. Staff is friendly and will make spot on recommendations. Overall, very good.

Awesome place for a traditional southern breakfast. The biscuits, bacon, and eggs were wonderful. Staff was extremely friendly. Great place to start a great day!

My first visit to Starkville Cafe was in August, 1984 as a freshman at MSU. It has been and remains a staple of downtown Starkville dining. The daily specials are time tested recipes that never fail to satisfy. Old and young cross its threshold daily to see friends and enjoy a great meal. My most recent visit did not fail... More

Traditional breakfast items and a small town atmosphere. The duck butter is a must! The service was friendly and fast even on game day.

This Main Street restaurant is simply good food with Southern charm. Yes, the Duck Butter which is from a recipe passed down through the generations is truly awesome.
