What a fun friendly place. Buffet Southern style cooking. The fried chicken and ribs are WONDERFUL. The rest of the food are just fillers as far as I am concerned. Good also but when ckn and ribs are soooo good.... Mr D is a delight...More

Way over priced. Drive an hour south to Vines brothers in Centerville and eat better food for half of the price

Loved the charm of an old country store. Felt like stepping back in time. Best Southern cuisine I've ever had. Best part was owner serenades ladies at the table and I thought my husband put him up to it as part of our anniversary; but...More

I have eaten here over a year ago. The chicken is divine as well as the occasional beautiful singing. The atmosphere and building are reminiscent of a half century or more ago. It is well worth a visit; however, It is overpriced as compared to...More

The best fried chicken hands down. They also serve great ribs and steaks. Buffet style dining. Family friendly. If traveling on Hwy 61 between Natchez and Vicksburg.... MUST stop.

We'd read about this place and wanted to try its fried chicken, supposedly the best ever. Being a big fan of Popeye's, I was interested to see how it would compare. It's apples and oranges. For spicy chicken, Popeye's is still king. For mild chicken,...More

Please add this restaurant. I found it when we stayed in Port Gibson, MS. it is about 8 miles out of town. It is on yelp. You can see it here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/old-country-store-lorman-2, it is also on roadfood.com. It is very inexpenisive and the food is very good. Moreover, the owner is a character. He sings to you. The waitresses treat you like relatives. It is truly a wonderful experience.
