We were headed to the coast for the weekend. We decided to take about a 12 minute drive off the interstate to try this place out!! Trip Advisor never disappoints! I think we got our food faster than a fast food place. The Crab Cakes...More

The thing that made Darwell's unique was the outside dining available on a beautiful day. And of course, the live music. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is restful, and fun! The food is very good, although we just had sandwiches. I know...More

I rarely give five stars, but this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations for it's category. It's not fine dining, but it sure is "good eatin'." We happened upon this place when we pulled off to drive through gulfport on our way between Montgomery, AL...More

Have been here a couple of times. Food is great. We had music Saturday afternoon. Kid friendly. You might pass this by if you did not hear reviews about it. Definitely worth stopping

An eclectic stop of characters, great food and local entertainment. They don't serve alcohol but allow you to bring you own. Food is very local twist on New Orleans and BBQ combined. Lots of outdoor seating with a band stand. A must see and yes...More

It was too bad we didn't order everything on the menu! The crawfish etouffee was so delicious, I felt like I was in Lafayette, Louisiana eating in a Cajun's kitchen!!! Oh, my mouth is watering just thinking about their tasty food! I recommend this place...More

This was the second of two Triple-D places I got to go to on this trip. The place was right out of the late 60's early 70's funk scene. We sat out in the patio area which was also decorated funky and neat. The service...More

Strong atmosphere, you either like it or hate it, no imbetween. Food is not spectacular. To enjoy, you must like seasoned food, as in heavily seasoned. You also need to be a big fan of gravy, multiple types.

Darwell's has excellent seafood dishes. Their gumbo and shrimp etouffe is the best. The yum yum pasta one of the best seafood pastas on the coast. They have a great selection of desserts. I love the red velvet cake.
