I wasn't quite sure what to expect coming in here - a vegan restaurant in Jackson, Mississippi. I was pleasantly surprised though and got the red beans and rice for their Monday lunch special. I'd been wanting to try this simple meal since I'd arrived in New Orleans a week before, but this was the first dish I saw that... More

We eat lunch here several times a week. Daily grill specials like veggie quesadillas and pizzas. Black bean burrito is also a favorite. Healthy without sacrificing good taste! Love it!

What delicious food! I highly recommend the beet burger if it is on the daily menu. The veggie pizza was delicious too! Quite, intimate but only open 11:30 till 02:00pm. Give them a try, you will be surprised and pleased.

High Noon is open for lunch Monday through Friday. They have started making their own tofu and seitan and buns for bread. They have really invented some fabulous dishes. This is a must for people who are not necessairly vegatarian or vegan but want a tasty and healthy alternative for lunch.

Normally I wouldn't comment on a restaurant that fails on all fronts however In this case this food is so bad it needs to be advertised. As I have just stated normally I can find something positive about most bad eating places to review but in this case there is nothing. Parking is at best dismal, location is inside a... More

Good mixed ethnic offerings here that rotate on a daily basis. No dissapointments at High Noon and in a part of the country where whole, healthy, well preped food can be hard to find, this place meets/exceeds those needs.

Ok it is a good place to find healthy food in the deep (fried) South. But compared to other Vegan restaurants I’ve been to (outside of Jackson), High Noon is far behind. The food I had was close from random steamed vegetables put together. However, the staff was very friendly, and it is nice to have a healthy grocery store... More

Randomly discovered this place on TA. Not the most upscale strip center, but perfectly acceptable. I walked in at 159, unaware they close at 2. The girl behind the counter okayed my sitting down. The head chef took my order and I started chatting him up as I was the only patron left at this point. We discussed trips, driving,... More

Thank goodness for internet on the road! We were on a family road trip, and on such trips we tend to look for local interests in food and shopping, even if it means taking a detour from the highway. Lo and behold we found High Noon Cafe. The name sounds like it should be a rollicking western-flavored steak house, which... More

This place is in an old school co-op style building with a health food store. With the advent of the big chains of natural grocery stores it's nice to visit a locally owned place. I told my kids this is how all health food stores used to smell( like nag champa)! The food in the cafe is great and don't... More
