We have been here several times and it has yet to disappoint. The food, of course, is typical bar food. Burgers are fantastic. Fried green tomatoes are a must!!! Beer is cold and service is friendly and efficient. And then there's the music... different musicians every night - pros and amateurs. We come back every time we are in town...

Fact: If you're in Clarksdale and you 're hungry or want a drink you come here. The fried chicken and the catfish are the highlights for us and we also enjoy the sandwiches. But, it's really the music and the atmosphere that make this place a must visit while in Clarksdale.

The plate lunch specials are delicious, home-style, real Southern food -- worth a visit for lunch during the week for salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, and turnip greens! Yummmmm!! Ground Zero Blues Club has great music every week and all year long. There's an open-mic on Thursday nights, always entertaining. This is one of the "must visit" places for a... More

Great spot to have lunch when walking about in downtown Clarksdale. Friendly staff and lots of great blues memorabilia. The Clarksdale Burger and fries was almost too much to eat! You can sign your name anywhere while you wait for your order. This was my 2nd time to visit this cool place. On another visit, I had the pleasure of... More

Had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer That lead to a cold local beer and then lunch of home made soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Doesn't sound like much, but one of the best meals of the trip The staff was VERY friendly and the service was quick and accurate.

Decided to eat lunch here after going to the Delta Blues Museum. It was a week day so was very slow. The place is partly owned by Morgan Freeman and two other gentlemen, one being the mayor of the town Mr. Bill Luckett, who happened to stop by and was very friendly, chatting with us. The interior is dark and... More
