Until recently, I hadn't heard of the Dutch Oven. My boss who travelled to Clarksdale on some business took me there, and guaranteed me that I wouldn't be disappointed. The Dutch Oven menu isn't overly complicated. It has a great selection a dishes that honestly are just great comfort food. I had the Tex-Mex sandwich. It was spot on! It... More

Stopped in here for lunch one day. We were there early in the week so there was no entertainment in the evening but we wanted to see the place. The fried green tomato BLT was really amazing! If you're looking for the ghost of Robert Johnson, he's here.

Slightly out of the way from most activities, part of the old railway station and not a walk by type of place - good lunch options and desserts.

We had a delightful lunch at The Dutch Oven. We had asked around where to go for pecan pie, and were directed here. We weren't disappointed. It is a friendly, clean, nicely decorated restaurant owned by Mennonites. The service was prompt and pleasant, and our meal delicious. We will be back next year! By the way, we may or may... More

Small Diner run and served by Mennonite ladies. Food was solid southern style lunch plates with very good pie selection. Very busy at lunch.

The chicken salad is excellent on a butter horn bun. The Italian creme cake and cupcakes are a special delight. They have frozen casseroles to go along with a variety of frozen cakes. Dining room is small and there is a patio outside. My children are always happy if I bring them the chicken salad sandwiches!

The coconut cream pie is the best in the world, period, end of discussion. This is a small lunchroom run by some Mennonite ladies and as far as I can tell everything is made from scratch. The portions are generous and the prices are low. Think about splitting that chicken salad sandwich, you'll both get plenty. It gets crowded here-... More

The food here is good but the prices are to high and the service is TERRIBLE. They have an abundance of workers but yet you have to sit and wait extended periods for them to come take an order or come back and check on you. The atmosphere is unprofessional and the workers are not friendly. After waiting so long... More
