We visited here for the first time last night. The house was quaint and loaded with history. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to meet our needs by offering to let us sample homemade dressings, explaining entrees in detail, and allowing us extra time to review the menu. She created a relaxing meal for us. The... More

I loved the character and charm of the place. But we had a long wait and the food was not worth what we paid. It's very crowded and loud and you couldn't hear the conversations with people at your own table. I will try it again in the future just to make sure that one visit wasn't a fluke. Not... More

The whole bone- in broiled flounder is exceptional. Great atmosphere. Love the location and beautiful courtyard. A must visit if you're on the Mississippi gulf coast.

Ate during the lunch seating and had more than we could finish for hald the finner prices! You can see both the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage Casinos from the restaurant parking lot and it is WELL worth leaving the casinos! Just a phenomenal restaurant in a 1737 structure that was home and HQ to the French governor of the... More

We went here in December of 2016. What a great treat it was!!! Located right off old Hwy 90, very near the beach, this 1737 Historic old home has all the history that puts it on the National Registry of Historic Homes - right where it belongs. It is basically the same building it has always been but went through... More

Service was great. We went for an early dinner and there were only a few other diners. Nice ambiance. We shared the Escargot, which was very tasty but really small snails, served out of the shell on a metal Escargot plate, with buttery garlic sauce. We had the seared Tuna Salad with was excellent, but could have been hot when... More

We visited without a reservation. We were seated immediately. Appetizer of crab cocktail and shrimp cocktail were tasty. I ordered the stuffed snapper, the husband ordered the filet with lobster tail. He was disappointed that there were no mashed potatoes.
