Kudos to owner for saving the historic character of this building post Hurricane Katrina. A historic downtown location with great food. I'm not a vegetarian but one of my favorites is their house made veggie burger....outstanding. Great seafood and excellent creole fare. A great bar (aptly named the Hurricane Hunter's Bar!) inside restaurant and separated enough so as not to... More

I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and there was very little meat on a very fluffy roll. I had to break off several large hunks of bread to get to the small amount of meat and sauce on the roll. My husbands hamburger was large but dry with nothing but a thin piece of lettuce and hard tomato on... More

Good service and reliable food- probably the best restaurant in old town. Great for a large group, couple, group of friends- anything you can imagine. Great seafood, desserts, poboys- I've never had a bad meal here. I'd give it five stars but they never update the menu. Still, a wonderful option.

The bread basket with oil brought to the table before we ordered was the best part of the meal. The waitress seemed to be in another realm. She was very creepy; however, accommodating when we had to send the food back. We ordered a tuna appetizer which was decent. Stuffed Flounder with a cream sauce was on the menu for... More

I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times, I was not disappointed. It is located in Historic Downtown Bay St. Louis. There are several restaurants to choose from. This is in an old building with original wood floors, exposed beams, lots of wood finishes, a well appointed bar and good menu. The service is very good. My son had... More

In the area for family business and some leisure activities, and had no where to be on thanksgiving. We decided we would drive from Gulfport into New Orleans for the day and find something to eat there while we discovered some of the city. On the way, we decided to hang a left after the bridge and see what was... More

Can't wait to go. Ack and try other things on the menu. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and listened to us as to our preferences. Our glasses never got empty and we left talking about going back.

There isn't much to choose from in this area. This place is nice and clean with nice staff. The food (we ate at lunch and only ordered a shrimp poboy and salad.) was slow coming out and mediocre in taste. Nothing to brag about, but as for competition this was probably our best choice for lunch.

Four of us had dinner one evening. It was very crowded and pretty noisy but the food was good and the service was even better. We ate oysters and seafood, all fresh and well prepared. Recommend!

First impression was correct. We walked up and hostess asked, can I help you? My husband said he needed a pair of extra large pants, she didn't laugh. The waiter couldn't remember neither the fish or soup of the day and made us feel awkward that he didn't know. We ordered the mahi mahi, looked smaller than a chicken finger... More
