Fun lively bar, just feet from the Mississippi river. Standard bar fare, good burgers. Expect a wait when busy, but staff is super friendly, even when they are racing around. Nice patio for outdoor dining.

Went here on a Sunday early afternoon. View was nice food was just ok and our waitress was not so good. We had baked chicken(good) slippery burger(good) red potatoes that were cold. The worst of it all was the waitress. Wont go back.

Wabasha is a quaint riverboat town off The Great River Road in Minnesota. If you are in Rochester for business or Mayo, you can take a scenic trip to Wabasha in less than an hour. And Slippery's Tavern is a great stop to get a bite to eat, watch clips from Grumpy Old Men movies and reminisce with the wait... More

My family had a great experience at Slippery's. The Putz burger is really tasty. My son had it with cheese, and it was even better. We both had the Slippery Spuds (roasted red potatoes with herbs and melted cheese), which was good, but isn't the type of potato we normally eat with burgers, so we both agreed we would get... More

Had never been to Wabasha but was told to go to Slippery's and get the slippery burger. I did and it was great.........it was so big that I had to bring half of it home with me......for my side I ordered the potatoes that are sautéed in olive oil and seasoned with oregano....... I could make a meal just on... More

Slippery's is a large restaurant, serving a variety of choices. I need to eat gluten free, and I enjoyed my broiled cod dinner with broccoli and baked potato. The fish tacos contained breaded fish, and the person who ordered was disappointed in that. The beer selection was good, as was the wine selection. It would be fun to go there... More

Slippery's is the best place in Wabasha to see the river and eat. Good food and great view. Patio is really nice when it is open.

First weekend open for the season! Burgers were great, try the Putz! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and if you're a fan of the movie, it's a must-stop!

We had friends that got married in the second floor banquet hall. The food was delicious, the bartenders were friendly and quick, and they also did double duty clearing tables. It was a great place to have a small reception. No dance was held, but it looked as though you could fit a do or small band up there. Didn't... More
