I know, people rave about Betty's Pies; we did, too, until we discovered the Rustic Inn. The journey up the shore isn't that much farther, but the trip is worth it. Good sandwiches, great service, candy (!) and truly wonderful pies. On top of that, there's a sweet little gift shop that has offerings that are somewhat different from the... More

This restaurant is on the North Shore, it has log siding and is quaint. They are known for their pies. I had Shrimp Scampi and it was superb!! Our waitress, Tammy was attentive and served our food quickly and hot. I had a truffle for dessert and my husband had chocolate pie. These pies are homemade. We ate there on... More

Stop here for lots of sodium. Good service but food lacking in any quality. Gift shop but no mugs that we could buy.

We were just there a day ago! Our meal, service and experience here was amazing! Our only regret was that we weren't going to be in the area for a another day or two. If we had been.... we would have definitely eaten there again! Highly recommended!

Loved it. Nothing super fancy but good quality food with local flare. Enjoyed the wild rice pancakes and waffles. Having REAL maple syrup as an option is always a plus for me...I hate "maple flavored" corn syrup! Friendly service, decent coffee. Will try it again!

We've come to the Rustic Inn many times on our trips to the North Shore, always enjoying the food. This time, unlike the past, service was very slow. The drinks and the pies (very delicious pies) were served promptly, but our sandwich order arrived nearly an hour after we arrived at the restaurant. The place had only 5-6 tables filled,... More

This was the first time that we came for dinner, normally we go for breakfast which has always been amazing. This restaurant is well decorated inside and the people are very friendly. The food is very fresh with many healthy options. Try the Reuben with tender chunks of corned beef on cranberry wild rice bread, or the hot beef which... More

I have eaten lunch here in the past and it always has been tasty and with good service. However, this review is about their pies. Along with our friends, we compared the Rustic Inn Café pies with pies from Betty's Pies. The Rustic Inn won, hands down. When you are on the North Shore, check out this place, if you... More

Great menu offers lots of options for anytime of day or night. Delicious homemade pies, yummy wild rice soup, great cold and hot meals.
