El Loro is one of those restaurants that you can count on to have a good meal. I always have a little difficulty deciding what to order because they have a lot of choices that I like. The fajitas have always been very good!

This El Loro's is close to where we live and have eaten there many times over the last 20 years. The last 2-3 times we have not enjoyed the food and atmosphere as much. It was 5:30 PM on a week night and they were not busy. My son and I had a desire for some good Mexican food and... More
Rancid oil, almost black the corn chips were tainted by this incredible old burned oil. I asked WHY do you serve this !!!!! The answer was it's all we have, we've been yelling at him to change it......That's it, ....... vegetables used were semi okay, some very tired....
Was hoping this place might be a hidden gem. Wrong. Plenty of wait staff, but none seemed to care about anything. I think the whole time we were there 4 different staff said 20 words total. Waited for initial seating, waited for drink order, waited for drinks, waited to place order. After 45 minutes of eating chips and queso, had... More
I used to love El Loro, but went for lunch the other day and it was terrible. I hadn't been in a couple years and couldn't believe the difference. The meat had almost no flavor and the salsa was pretty bad for a Mexican restaurant. I used to love their authentic taste, not sure what happened. I hope they figure... More
About as close to real Mexican Food as you can get this side of the border. Inside you can almost think you are in Mexico. You don't walk out hungry.
My wife and I have enjoyed El Loro for about 10 years, with its great combination of authentic Mexican food, friendly service, and good value. The food and service are still very good, however the prices continue to go higher. With newer competition from Teresa's, El Loro is losing the substantial competitive edge it has had for many years.
