I loved the staff at this place. The bar was cozy and fun to hang out in. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The food was very good. The staff will tell you interesting stories about the hotel. I would come back again! I might have witnessed a thing or two. But I wasn't afraid.

The place is haunted, but the food is out of this world! Definitely worth a stop and the prices are ridiculously affordable. Service is fast like lightning.

Service was great and food was delicious at this historic cafe. We walked right in and were greeted promptly. My husband had the short stack which had 2 HUGE pancakes. I enjoyed a caramel roll and sausage links. It was a great place to eat a leisurely breakfast, but the food was delivered quickly. Will definitely stop by here again... More

Wanted to take the Ghost Tour but got there way too early, so we ate at the small Bar resterant off its museum lobby. The food was good & the waitress showed us a iPhone picture of an aberration in the lobby by the desk. We had seen the Hotel on Ghost Adventures & wanted to check it out -... More

The Palmer House Hotel has some of the friendliest staff and tastiest food. The town is a great throwback feel to a simpler "Mayberry" type of feel. Minnesota Nice is on display at the Palmer House. Food is tasty, hotel is unique and comfy! I would happily suggest it and often do to friends looking for a cool experience when... More

The cafe is located in the Palmer House Hotel. It is like stepping into the past when you enter the restaurant. It´s very quaint and the woman who greeted us and waited on us was very friendly. We were there for breakfast and the food was very good.

Love the look of this place, lots of old time furnishing. Breakfast is good and reasonable. Only stayed here once because of the loud pipes, if someone takes a shower it bangs and klangs very loudly. They have blinds on the windows which are good for privacy but does nothing to block light. I'm not an early riser but it's... More

Visited as part of a large wedding rehearsal dinner party. Had a great time, service was good, but expected more from the meal. Had great cookies and brownies for dessert but was underwhelmed with the main course. The house poppyseed salad dressing was great though! Fun place for a unique dinner among the historic hotel building known for its possible... More
