This is my favorite place to eat breakfast. Everything is fresh baked that day. There is a large bakery case as well as a regular menu to order from. They have delicious coffee and my favorite food item is their baked french toast. There are lunch optios as well such as sandwiches and salads, fresh fruit. They offer tons of... More

We came in around 9:30 and happy to find a table for our party of 3. My daughter had the toasted 4 cheese sandwich sans the honey mustard mayo, she declared it to be "cheese heaven." My husband had the hash brown bake and he felt it was OK, a bit dry. I had the bacon quiche, which I really... More

Tiny nice Café. On the other hand besides a good service it lacks in many issues. Dirty. The sandwiches are not quite OK. The cold cuts in the sandwiches are literally from the fridge to the bread. Too ice cold. Dry. The brie in the sandwich not there. Too much mustard that overdue other tastes. Cappuccino was nice.

I came for coffee and a bakery treat and discovered much more! As part of a nation-wide promotion, this was one of two cafés in MN that became "Luke's" for a day. By the time I made it to the front door, they had already served the 500 "promotion cups" and were still smiling and greeting customers with friendly, individual... More

I love this neighborhood hangout in an historic building with a lovely summer patio. They've added a pleasant second floor, so this tiny place now has adequate seating. Try the cinnamon rolls, scones, baked hash browns, or oatmeal for breakfast. Sandwiches and salads are good for lunch. Bring a friend or a book and linger over coffee.

We had a fabulous breakfast here on a busy Saturday. Lots of food, loud of variety. They made me a special fruit cup that had no pineapple since I am allergic. This kind of service and a cool atmosphere made for a fun breakfast.

Swede Hollow has gone from your favorite place to get a good coffee and scone to a real destination restaurant, with the lovely new upstairs addition. Not only is the food still great--especially breakfast--but the beautiful use of authentic mill work and flooring in the new space makes it a really pleasant space to eat as well.

Yes, Mom's kitchen was not to big either. During lunch, arrive early if you want a place to sit. Coffee is good. Food is even on a higher level. No complaints about anything (except the close at 3pm on weekdays). The coffee, sandwiches, soap, service, staff, location, tables everything very good. They raise the bar on coffeehouses. I would like... More

I am so happy I stumbled upon this place! I love the atmosphere-cozy but lively at the same time. The lattes are wonderful and beautifully presented. I enjoyed a scone as well. Will definitely return again soon!!
