We had some of the best service we've ever experienced last weekend. Our server was friendly, unobtrusive, very knowledgeable about the entrees and the wine list, and really seemed to be enjoying herself. We were greeted like old friends by Joan herself, and we saw...More

We have been fairly regular customers since Joan's first opened. The service is good and food well prepared and delicious. Proud to have such a wonderful small business and restaurant in our neighborhood. Do note that the restaurant is small and there is not significant...More

For the price we payed, just would've expected more. The food was good but way over priced. We probably will not come back because it wasn't memorable food and the cost to dine there was too high.

The food was great. Well prepared, well presented, full of flavor. The atmosphere was ok at best. It was loud. Like obnoxiously loud. Part of that was because there was a large group on the other side of the center room divider and a few...More

We had a reservation and pretty much got in on time. Service was excellent, and so was the food. It was also a bit more expensive than normal for fine dining. The only other downfall was that the place is tiny and loud. Low ceiling,...More

We went with two friends. One is hard of hearing and it worked better than most restaurants to communicate. We were seated by the windows and the noise seemed lower than most restaurants. Food was delicious. Tried some new things. The service was attentive but...More

What a great cozy restaurant with outstanding food! Eating at the bar or at a table you'll find this inviting atmosphere a great neighborhood of people being treated to epicurean delights --- while the owner Joan greets all arriving. Try the beef tar tar for...More

Cozy, intimate restaurant that impresses. You are warmly welcomed into this inviting local neighborhood restaurant. The craft cocktails are excellent made with house tonic and touches like hand carved ice cubes. Dinner mains satisfied and exceeded expectations from scallops to beef cheeks. Sides were distinct...More

Here is a link to the current menu. Many items are around $12-15, but like any restaurant--if you order appetizers, salads, desserts, and wine or beer (no liquor license at this time there for other drinks I believe), then... More
