Free parking. Attractively decorated and spacious restaurant. Friendly and very attentive staff. Extensive menu. Our Chinese host selected our four food items all of which were delicious and served in generous portions.

Good: A big menu. food portions are big and flavoring authentic, not overly sweet or salty. It's the place to go in the Twin Cities for good Chinese food. Accommodates big groups. The neighborhood looks run down, although we have not had any safety issues. Tip: Call ahead and avoid days when there is a big event. If there is... More

Large place with huge menu. I had some seafood soup that had a few pieces of large shrimp, squid (tough) and not sure what else. Think there may have been some eel in this dish. I am giving myself big kudo's for eating food outside my norm, though I had to pass on the squid. Lots and lots and lots... More

I stopped in here yesterday by chance. Never been. It was 5PM, and very quiet, only 2 other diners there. The staff was polite and helpful in finding a table where I could park my mobility scooter near my table. I had the Kung Pao chicken dish that I chose from a large and very diverse menu. It was plentiful,... More

My family comes here once every 3 months. It's a good family restaurant. Huge menu, most dishes are good. My favorite is the walnut shrimp. It can be busy on the weekends & service may take longer. Overall, a long time favorite of ours.

The food is good and authentic. Location is not the best. I prefer the menu over the buffet. The live seafood is also very good.

I only go tot his place for Dinner or non Buffet. I focus on the Peking Duck that has three taste rank, which is also a brilliant way to capture the what part of the Duck you want to be include in the package. The Duck is tender, refine capture of Peking CRaft on feeling royal culinary. Please forget the... More

I was visiting Minneapolis St. Paul from Houston, TX. My friend took me to this Chinese Restaurant. She told me it is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. For the 3 of us, I ordered the steamed Walleye, the pea shoot greens in broth, the sweet and sour chicken and the stir fried beef flat rice noodles. The steamed... More

The Peking Garden was first recommended to me by two Chinese people as having the best authentic Chinese food in Saint Paul. I have eaten there several times and not been disappointed.

We hadn’t eaten here in years (it was by the U of MN before) and recently rediscovered it, multiple times, at lunch & dinner. It’s nice to find ‘real’ Chinese food; we also like Shuang Cheng, Mandarin Kitchen, Hong Kong Noodles, & House of Wu to name a few. We ordered mainly Chse dishes; Japanese and Thai during our visits.... More
