If you're in Rochester, going to Newt's for a burger is a must. The Jucy Lucy is amazing! Fried pickles are also very delicious!

Have to say, it's not all I expected. Heard that they had some of the best homemade burgers. Right away before even looking at the menu, I'd decided it was a burger. Wished I'd gotten something else. They say 1/2lb burgers, that's fine, but I think they're "compressed" burgers, not fresh handmade. They didn't have a lot of flavor, and... More

Always a good place to shake off the mayo daze you might be feeling. Beers & burgers are fantastic! Sports are always on!

If you're looking for a casual atmosphere with good drinks and great burgers, try Newt's. It's the best in town. Oh, and their nachos are amazing too!

Great stop if you are in Rochester and want a good burger or sandwich, or just food in general. It is located in a great spot, the popcorn is good :), the food is awesome, and customer service is great! You will not be disappointed.

I ate here for the first time this past summer! I found the burger, fries and beer were perfect. Today, I enjoyed lunch there and again opted for a burger with fries, but went for water and a soft drink vs the beer!! The burger was just as tasty as I remembered! The service was good again, just as before!... More

Wide selection of burgers...Cooked to your specifications. TV's offering sports games. Bottomless pop. Nice beer selection too. It was hard to find (upstairs over Hefe Rojo), but well worth it. A short walk from the parking garage (which is free after 5 pm until 2 am).

They are known for their burgers. They have the option of gluten free bun for a small charge. The fried pickles were tasty. Good choice of microbrews.

I've been to Newt's a dozen times or so over the past 20 years. Wish it was more often... but I'm not in Rochester all that often. Every time I'm there the burgers are great. The only problem with Newt's (the downtown location) is that it's small. Tables are smoothed together and you feel cramped. And, when it's busy, the... More
