Home made baked goods, delicious breakfast and lunch choices. I had Eggs Benedict with asparagus that was yummy! There were 4 of us and we all had something different and we each enjoyed. You order similarly to Panera, so no table service. Price was right and left looking forward to our next visit

Overall a pretty nice place for a quick bite... our thoughts: Pros: 1. Food is actually pretty good. We had two soups and a veggie quesadilla all of which were good. Quiches looked good but we didn't try any. 2. It's a totally different atmosphere than a chain bread company like a Breugger's or a Panera; much less refined which... More

Turtle Bread has been a long-time favorite of my family for breakfast. Some of the best scones, muffins & pastries in town. Our favorite is the chocolate bread offered only on Friday, Saturday & Sunday - a slightly sweet yeast bread that is amazing. The hot breakfasts are great, too --- quiche, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. While we don't live... More

The place is so loud and the food isn't even that good! The cherry pie is tasteless and the salads are old. The bread was okay. The cashiers and people who take your order are so rude. Someone in my party tried to ask what is the most popular dishes are and she snubbed her!! So rude and she got... More

It's January. Slowest time for restaurants, especially here in the midwest. I was in on a slow day, at a slow time, in a slow month. I had a small but spendy lunch order to go and thanks to the older Turtle Bread manager lady with blue glasses, it will be my last. She was so rude!! I was so... More

A decent and popular neighborhood spot that probably gets more business because of convenience than anything else. I had breakfast here with a friend last week and it was okay. My omelet had chunks of unmelted cheese in it and the spinach in the omelet was not dried enough and caused the dish to be watery. The taste was okay... More

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch on a Monday at 1:00. I had a slice of quiche, a cup of chicken wild rice soup and an ample slice of delicious raspberry pie. All of these were very good. The staff was genial and there was plenty of free parking on the street at that hour. If I lived in the Minneapolis... More

We had 9 people for brunch last Sunday. The place was not crowded at all and we found seating immediately. I love the bakery here and was looking forward to brunch. I had the Huevos Rancheros. It was disappointing. I do not eat much salt at all, but this was flavorless, no spices that I could detect. I got a... More

We stopped for soup and sandwiches. The sandwich toppings are limited. It was an okay sandwich. The tomato basil soup was pretty good. I want to go back to try the pie though.

We stopped here while riding bikes around Minneapolis. What a find. Great bread and pastries and a really delicious omelette.
