Super casual and perhaps even grungy. But the menu has good vegan options and they are well executed.

Very intriguing, glad I was with friends that have been before. It is self seating, grab a menu and find a table. Write your order on piece of paper. Then take it to the cashier to ring up. They call your name when your food is ready so you have to get up and get the food yourself. Then why... More

I've been here a couple times. It draws a huge, diverse crowd, and I don't know why. It's small, packed, a little dirty, and the coffee was just OK. Both times there was a bit of a wait. If you're just looking to grab a quick coffee, I'd head to precision grind a block away. It's faster, cleaner, and their... More

The Seward Cafe is a local treasure with a unique atmosphere inside. Walls filled with local art and pictures of their staff gatherings, it's clearly a trendy college hang-out, but is large and clean enough to welcome a wide variety of customers. Booths border the winding interior set-up, as well as tables placed throughout. If ordering anything more than a... More

Even though there is a huge CAFE sign on the outside of the building, the entry wasn't the easiest to find. When we first walked in around 9am on a Sunday morning, I noticed and loved the style of the place, a cool old school vintage vibe. The food is organic and there are options for all dietary requirements. I... More

I always make a point of grabbing breakfast at Seward Cafe whenever I have the chance to visit Minneapolis. Love the quirky atmosphere and the food is very good. Great place for breakfast.

Great place for a healthy locally sources breakfast and now serving beer. I mainly get breakfast here and it is always pleasant. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food, what else could you want.

From the outside you might drive on by, however should you step inside and sample the food I'm sure you can see why this is a popular place - albeit hidden away! We have no problem driving 35 minutes to eat here! We have eaten here as a family or on a date night. It serves both great. Our kids... More

This is my son's favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. We had their breakfast and it is amazing. The food is organic and you can taste the difference! The bacon was delicious and lean!

We drive by this place every day and have always been interested in stopping. Well, the wait is over, and we won't be stopping again. Nice that they serve beer and wine but the selection? Meh - limited. Service - other than taking the order (which you wrote YOURSELF) and your money - is non existent. You even have to... More
