Great summer spot for a casual lunch or dinner, or a glass of wine or beer. There is always a long line for food on warm summer evenings. It can look intimidating, but it's worth the wait. Expert tip: grab a beer from the beverage window before getting in line for food. The fish tacos are delicious and filling (big).... More

The Tin fish is a Minneapolis hub during the summer. It is right on Lake Calhoun and traditionally has a line a mile long on a sunny day. Its heartbeat is that it has a great grilled fish taco. You will hear the bell ringing as you come up to the window. It is a scene right out of a... More

Very welcoming patio with lot of seating on good weather day. The menu was quite satisfying and staff are friendly. Fish variety full value for money. View very attractive right on the waterfront. Recommend for all age groups

Food is always great. The waiting line proves this. Nice place to stop on a lazy day. I like the fish tacos.

I'm fortunate to be retired & close enough to bike to the restaurant so I can pick the right times & not have the parking hassle or long waits.. The salmon is always wonderful & a very nice sized portion. Salad is a great nutritious, delicious meal. Never was one for raw fish, but after discovering their ceviche I'm a... More

Queuing was fun with a nutritious IPA from the express beer window. Had the fish platter- everyone enjoyed their meal. Watched the sun go down and mingled with friendly dogs - an excellent stop on the bikes

Don't even plan on trying to find a close parking spot. We went (on a weekend) and there were not parking spots anywhere within half of a mile. I'm not sure how the parking would be during the week.

Good is excellent and the staff is great. I would give it a 5 but the like is always too long. Add another window. You shouldn't make your customers wait 30 mins to order.

The view at the golf course is most pleasing. Friendly staff and nice building. Food however leaves something to be desired. Featured item is fish, a favorite of mine. I find the serving size so small there isn't much taste. They had a few vegetable items as specials, think I'll try to make a meal out of that next time.... More

Tin Fish serves up good food with fun people watching. Being on the edge of the lake in their seating area gives the place a nice laid back vibe. The food seems fresh and even if there is a line, it's usually not a long wait. Great stop after some kayaking or paddle boarding.
