Great menu of very well prepared comfort foods for breakfast and lunch. They also serve daily lunch specials Monday through Friday. Great caramel rolls and huge cinnamon rolls. On our last visit I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs. The serving was huge and meaty. As good as anything I had "down south"! My bride had the french... More

Where else can you get plate size pancakes that are real buttermilk and made from scratch. Prices are incredable, 2 pancakes and coffee for $7.50 and they are the best in town!. Simple décor and not fancy. Servicers remember you after a few visits and are extremely friendly, even on your first visit. Ths place is a GEM!

Milda's Cafe is a neighborhood institution. The cafe is light, bright, and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Milda's isn't known for good breakfasts and doesn't disappoint. They have daily specials that repeat weekly. They also serve pastys three days a week. They're also available frozen for take out. The menu is varied for breakfast... More

My friend and I were in town for a girl's weekend, and I googled "breakfast near me". An article came up with Minneapolis' 10 Best Breakfasts. Milda's happened to be the closest to where we were staying, so off we went. It's a cute little diner-type restaurant with friendly servers and cooks. My friend had scrambled eggs and a Belgian... We stopped in here for a late breakfast and enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs. They were cooked to perfection. They only serve fresh pasties 3 days a week but sell frozen ones for takeout to be baked in your oven at home. We took advantage and enjoyed it for dinner that night. Milda's has won many awards for... More

Ordered food for myself and the server got it wrong I said short stack but pointed at short French. Then I asked for apple juice and jello for my daughter (which there is no kids menu) that didn't come til I asked for it. Wasn't to impressed by the service and will not return.

Having grown up on this delicious dish, finding a good one after all the ancestors are gone has proven difficult...UNTIL NOW!! Milda's pasties are excellent. They are huge and stuffed with tons of meat and potatoes. We did not eat in...took ours to go. Warmed as directed and they tasted fresh as just cooked when reheated. Can't wait to go... More

Visiting the Twin Cities we read that Milda's (now 50 years in business), served excellent breakfasts. So, we programmed the GPS and off we went to one of the most incredible breakfasts I've eaten in all my travels. If you're in the area, you simply HAVE to go! First -- the server was wonderful. She was so pleasant it was... More
