Very simple decor. Delicious soups and pork plates. Fresh salads and to-go sandwiches. Jasmine tea hot or cold. Extensive menu with all fresh herbs and regional dishes have the perfect sauces and traditional ingredients. Friendly service, family run

Had lunch with my two sisters - our waitperson (Jeremy?) was fabulous, helpful, friendly. We had a bahn mi, a HUGE bowl of chicken soup with chicken and rice noodles, and a stir-fried noodles with mock duck, two Vietnamese coffees and three (GF) delicious sesame balls for dessert - for under $35. The food was tasty, perfectly cooked, and fresh.

Their rice noodle salad is incredible. They have tofu and mock duck options. Just be sure to let them know you're vegan and they'll bring out a fish-free sauce for you. They also have the best spring rolls I've ever had. Mock duck, cilantro, mint, carrots, rice noodles, sauteed onions, cucumber. Incredible. Their peanut sauce is perfect. Not too sweet,... More

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I lived in Mpls for 20 years and this was and is the most consistent restaurant in town. I've never been disappointed by the flavor a, food quality or service. They have a wide variety of vegetarian meal and the mock duck and tofu are so good. Now that I've been to Vietnam... More

I go to this place several times a year, but it is not enough. I am so satisfied every time. This week I had the tamarind chicken wings appitizer. It was crunchy, hot and mouth-watering. I followed it with a yellow curry noodle salad with pork. Every, yes, every bite was nearly a religious experience. How often do you get... More

Great sandwiches! Very friendly family owned classic in this changing neighborhood. Get a pork spring roll and walk to the park in front of Mia.

Two “Jasmine” restaurants in downtown/south Minneapolis offer the best Vietnamese food in the Twin Cities. Both are near 26th St. and Nicollet Ave. S. on “Eat Street,” a few blocks from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and are owned by Vietnamese sister Le Truong and brother Vinh. The older, more traditional “Jasmine Deli” offers excellent and comforting Vietnamese street food.... More

This is a small great eatery for Asian cooking. Great soups and sandwiches for lunch. You can eat in or take out.

Favorite bahn mi in the cities. Always quick service and totally reasonable prices (like all Vietnamese in this city.) Try the mock duck spring rolls!

I wish we could move this Vietnamese cuisine back to Lansing, Michigan, where we really don't have the quality of pho and subs found here at Jasmine Deli in Minneapolis. How about a quick flashmob food visit to Lansing sometime soon?
