I ate here on Tuesday evening and had a really lovely meal. As I was on a diet, the staff went out of their way to ensure I had plenty of fresh vegetables. Nice atmosphere.

The Queens is a firm favourite of ours when choosing somewhere to eat. We recently visited and the slight changes to the menu are lovely. There is something for everyone. We started with the tiger prawns and pate followed by the beef and merlot pie and one of the burgers which was to die for!!. Presentation was perfect. The homemade... More

We were recommended this pub by a relative, so on visiting the area we gave it a try, and were not disappointed. The Landlord and his wife were friendly and welcomed us on arrival. The menu gave lots of different dietary options meeting gluten free requirements. The staff were all friendly, efficient and happy in their work. The restaurant although... More

On arriving it looked very clean and welcoming. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The seating wasn't quiet how I would have preferred it . We had a varied selection of meals, one being the steak pie which was excellent another of the party had gammon which they said was tasteless. The meals overall I thought were poor value... More

My family have all been fans of Queen's for the last couple of years, and we have celebrated special events as well as just going for regular lunch and dinner. Always been brilliant, from exceptional service to tasty food, with a lovely welcome from the amiable landlord. Yesterday we came for lunch with our usual expectations but everything was different.... More

Visited Queens bar and restaurant whilst staying at Quarry Walk Lodges. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Attended the grill night which was very good for money. I would defiantly return and recommend.

We were staying in some Lodges nearby and called in Saturday to book for Sunday lunch. The Queens itself opens for lunch and evening meals closing inbetween most days it seems. We both opted for the Sunday lunch I had lamb and my husband had the turkey and both were absolutely beautiful it came with a bowl of new and... More

Lovely meal, brilliant service good atmosphere, really good for a special occasion, a very good menu plenty of choice, it's just a shame that the steaks are a bit expensive I had fillet cooked just how I like it but at 25 pounds it's a bit expensive for a lot of people
