The best place to eat breakfast not only in Duluth but in MN. The skillets are the best and the pancakes are legendary. Great value for a ton of food. Always go here for breakfast when I am in Duluth.

Awesome spot for a casual breakfast! We had to wait for a table, but it was worth it - can't beat the prices and the portions were out of control.

We were able to get right in and find a table. Kids each found food that they wanted and were so happy with when it arrived. The syrups on the table are DELISH!

We arrived with only a few of ahead of us, had a great and very filling breakfast, and left with quite a line (that seemed to move at a decent pace) waiting to enjoy what we did.

We stopped in for a late lunch not realizing they closed at 2:45 pm. We had a Philly cheese sandwich, which really had no cheese or onions and peppers. A Gyro sandwich and salad, which was good and filling. A grilled chicken sandwich and salad which was okay. Maybe the breakfast items are better. It was all just okay.

We walked our 4 miles, came around the corner.... a line to wait to get in! We waited about 20 minutes in the nice sunshine, it does move quickly. Once seated you are immediately given water, asked if you needed other beverages, menus. Server was very prompt to take your order. Food took another 20 minutes. Constant refills on water... More

We had a Saturday morning breakfast at Uncle Loui's and it was great. There was a line, so be sure to either get there early or expect to wait. Either way, it's worth it. There were lots of local people in the restaurant, older, middle aged, families and plenty of college kids. The food was good and reasonably priced. Highly... More

The place is usually packed what makes it a good thing that the staff is so efficient - meaning they are not friendly but they'll serve you fast. Well cooked american breakfast food is served for a cheap price. You must try the pancakes or the french toast just so you can try their famous homemade syrups.

We grabbed breakfast here and was delicious. $8.00 scramble was done perfectly, crispy real hash browns. Made to order. Not a lot of seating, so may need to wait for a table, but totally worth a 10 minute wait!!

Uncle Loui's was well recommended by locals for breakfast and we went there on a Saturday morning around 9AM. The place was packed as expected, as it's not a large place at all, probably seats about 40 all told, including seats at the counter. The food was good portions of American breakfast items, their pancakes and French toast were especially... More
